We got a most beautiful email one morning as I was heading to Big Bear to see my parents.  It was medical info on a little girl 4 months old and her name was the exact name my husband had wanted to name whoever we adopted.  That was a huge thing for us, as we saw God's hand moving throughout this.  A little later a pic of her came through but I wasn't with my husband (Joey) so I didn't open it.  I was with my best friend and handed it to her with overjoyed eyes and said you look and tell me if she's adorable.  Of course she said, "YES!"

SO as soon as Joey got out of the funeral he was helping in at our church we planned to open it at the same time together as we were talking on the phone.  We (the boys and my friend and her boys ) were all at a trader joes at the bottom of the hill in a pumpkin patch at this point.

We both looked at all of the files and the fact that God gave her the name Abbigail already meaning "Fathers joy" or "Father in rejoicing" and knew she was meant for us!  She was a Beason!  We found out a few days later she was born on Joey's Mom's birthday (80th) and My nieces' also.  I told Joey God loved him more....since she had the name he picked :).  I had picked Evangeline so we will make it her middle name. This all happened Oct. 24th.

This week we found out we're submitted to court.
Sooooo, we (as paperwork) are sitting in the court offices somewhere.....waiting for a date....YAHOOO!
Hopefully we go in about 2 months or less :)
