OHHHHHH.... we are so close to getting a picture of our newest family member/s.  The suspense is constantly distracting me.  Although I am in full-swing of homeschooling my kidos half of which are almost men.  Anyway, we've had a pretty good week for our first week.  I hear sighs here n there but they'll get over it and realize Geometry and learning about Napoleon will help them someday :)
Our Summer was eventful for all my kids.  Caleb was gone for most of it in Nepal and India with Global Expeditions.  He had the privilege of praying for blind man, who had been blind since he was 4 and now old.....He felt God remind him of the story of Jesus spitting in the mud and putting it on the blind man in the bible so he had that portion of scripture interpreted to the man.   He then spit in his hands and prayed as he put them on the man. The man suddenly saw the trees but he said they were blurry.....so Caleb prayed again and with each spitting on the hands and laying hands on him his got clearer and clearer till the 7th time it was perfect! I love Caleb's boldness to be obedient no matter how it looked to be God's hands in this man's life.  WOW!

Josiah my oldest wrote a few songs one of which is going to be on our Church's new CD we just recorded live....He played his Banjo as he sang "You breathe life into our dry and broken bones, You give life to anyone who calls You their own, You swooped in and saved my soul, You filled in the God-shaped hole."  It has a fun yet passionate folky sound to it.  He lead kids and Youth camp worship and everyone said it was dripping with God's presence....a girl was healed of leukemia after prayer by one of our friends that also went on a global expeditions trip this summer and ....Docs confirmed it her healing.  Caleb preached twice.  My husband and I could not have our hearts more full.

Our two youngest Ben and Elias are growing and watching God moving and desiring more themselves.  I am a very blessed mama!
